ChristianRunners.org of Southern Maine would like to introduce our newest leader, Roland Thibault.Roland has been running with our group for almost a year now.He has recently taken over the job of heading up our Saturday morning group runs and has some exciting ideas for growing our group in the future.
Roland has been running for over 25 years, starting in middle school.He went on to coach both middle school and high school track for 13 years and has an impressive 5K and 10K race history.Most recently he has been a board member of the Maine Track Club, being responsible for the quarterly club news letter.He is both a runner and a philosopher and has written numerous articles relating his experiences running to the ups and downs of life.Many of his articles can be viewed on his Ponder My Wandering page on Facebook.
Roland and his wife, Carolyn, have been married for 6 years and are currently attending Harvest Bible Chapel.
Welcome to ChristianRunners in Southern Maine! We're thrilled you found us and can't wait to meet you! Although we are just getting things going here, we are immediately committed to encouraging all who are interested in running and inspiring those from all walks of life to be captivated by the love and grace of God.
Regardless of your current ability, we hope you'll come take advantage of an opportunity to meet, train and fellowship with other runners in the area. We are serious (and not so serious) runners with the ultimate goal of utilizing God's gift of running to further His Kingdom.
