Mike Buckelew's mission team now going to the Dominican Republic! Be praying for Mike and Allison as they travel to Honduras with their mission team from World Harvest Church! Mike was able to come to the awesome storage space and pick out 150 pairs of shoes to take to several different orphanges in Honduras, however, the political chaos in that country has rerouted their team to the Dominican Republic. So the shoes will go to Honduras with the next mission team going there after the political tension has died down and allows for outsiders to visit the country again.
Please be praying for the team of 14- 6 youth and 8 adults as they go to the Dominican Republic to build stronger relationships with our ministry Foundation Love Your Neighbor there. Thank God for this storage space where the shoes can be stored and mission team folks can come by and pick up shoes to take with them!!

God has provided a place for ChristianRunners to store all of our Reuse our Shoes!! We collect used running shoes with the great help of Big Peach Running Co. and fellow runners to redistribute mainly to the orphans and people in need in the Dominican Republic! Something that we have a great abundance of in the United States, shoes, is an incredible gift to so many who live without them. Many of the dangerous diseases of the world can be transmitted through a person's feet, so by providing shoes to them, it helps to protect them from many dangerous diseases.
ChristianRunners has just recently returned from the Dominican Republic! Check out our mission team of 13 that just went to the Dominican Republic over Memorial Day weekend! We brought down hundreds of pairs of brand new crocs, used running shoes and brand new socks to distribute to the people there. We handed them out at a church service, at a 10k race that CR put on in the DR, and to many children in the local village.
