Michael Buckelew - grew up in Marietta, GA and graduated college on the plains of Auburn University. Jesus Christ is everything to me and the sacrifice of His shed blood is my lifeline. My beautiful and amazing wife, Allison, is truly God's wisdom and my help mate. (She keeps me in check :)) I have been blessed with the passion to run and race in triathlons! Michael has completed over 20 International distance triathlons, 2 marathons, 1/2 Ironman and the Florida IronMan by 2009! Triathlons are seen as a gift from God and His extended grace to me. Michael is an active member of World Harvest Church in Roswell, GA where he has developed his passion for God and compassion for people around the world! Michael is the race director of World Harvest Church's Big Pumpkin 5K an event that raises money for youth mission trips to Honduras and Mexico. He recently graduated from the World Harvest Bible Institute with an associates degree in Biblical studies. Michael also serves on the Youth Missions Board at WHC, ABLE Man of the Year 2009 and is involved with Safehouse ministries, Street Reach ministry, Convoy of Hope and ChristianRunners.org I'm excited to see what God has planned for Christian Runners, our members, our families, and the many lives we will impact through Jesus Christ!
