Running is a way of life for many people. It gets us up in the morning and it’s what we think about prior to going to bed.The hard part is when we can’t run due to an injury.Having had my shares of injuries in the past, I know firsthand how difficult this time can be.Two things have gotten me through: one, being my faith in God and the other, knowing that most injuries do heal and I will be able to run again.
My hope and prayer is that through this message board we can work together to prevent these injuries. In the situations that these injuries do occur, it is important to figure out the cause and to make adjustments to get you back on the road without risking further injury.
God is truly the Greatest Physician and HE has a great plan for each and every one of us. This plan includes our running as it is He who has put that desire and passion in our hearts to run.Times of injury and recovery can be times that we need to be going at a slower pace in order to minister to others. I have a good friend back in Florida that has used his time of injury to slow down the pace and pray for the people that live in every house that he passes by. What a positive way to look at his circumstances and give God the glory in every situation. I want to help you run safely and enjoy this gift from God without injury.
